What is SA213 T12 material?

SA-213T12 is a low alloy hot strength steel made of the following materials:

Carbon (C): 0.05% to 0.15%.
Silicon (Si): 0.5%
Manganese (Mn): 0.3-0.61 per cent
Phosphorus (P): 0.025 per cent
Sulphur (S): 0.025 per cent
Chromium (Cr): 0.80% to 1.25
Molybdenum (Mo): 0.44 to 0.65 per cent

This steel has good process performance and welding performance, suitable for high temperature environment below 550°C, with high thermal strength and oxidation resistance, widely used in 300MW, 600MW boiler superheater, reheater and other heating surface piping and collector box, main steam piping, etc., the working temperature does not exceed 550 ℃.
