A213T91 alloy tube is a seamless steel tube for high-pressure boilers that meets the ASTM A213/A213M-07a standard. Its chemical composition contains elements such as carbon (0.07-0.13%), chromium (8-9.5%), molybdenum (0.85-1.05%), vanadium (0.18-0.25%), niobium (0.06-0.10%), etc. After normalizing and tempering treatment, it has excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and stable and durable plasticity. The design stress of this material at 550 ℃ is twice that of traditional T9 steel, and the allowable stress below 620 ℃ exceeds that of austenitic stainless steel. It is suitable for high-temperature superheaters and reheaters in subcritical/supercritical boilers with wall temperatures ≤ 625 ℃.
T91 seamless steel pipe, as a key material in the fields of power, petrochemicals, and boiler manufacturing, occupies an important position in industrial applications due to its excellent high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. This material belongs to the martensitic heat-resistant steel under the ASTM A213 standard in the United States, with a corresponding grade of 10Cr9Mo1VNbN in China. In terms of production technology, T91 is made into seamless tubes using hot rolling or cold drawing processes. The inner and outer surfaces need to undergo strict polishing and acid washing treatment to ensure dimensional accuracy of ± 0.5mm and wall thickness deviation of no more than ± 10%. These characteristics make it widely used in high-pressure components such as superheaters and reheaters in supercritical boilers.
