15CrMo is a low-alloy high-strength structural steel. Due to its excellent comprehensive properties, 15CrMo is widely used in petrochemical, power equipment, and pressure vessel industries.

Chromium (Cr): 0.80-1.10%

Sulfur (S) ≤0.025%
The addition of chromium significantly improves the hardenability and high-temperature strength of the steel, while molybdenum effectively suppresses temper brittleness and improves the high-temperature creep properties of the material. This compositional combination makes 15CrMo perform excellently in medium-temperature environments below 500℃.

High Temperature Mechanical Properties
15CrMo maintains high strength at high temperatures:
Tensile Strength at 450℃: ≥370MPa
Tensile Strength at 500℃: ≥340MPa
This excellent thermal strength makes it particularly suitable for high-temperature service environments, such as boiler fittings and heat exchangers.
