In addition to its ability to withstand high temperatures, ASTM A358 310S stainless steel pipe also has excellent welding and forming properties. They can be easily welded using a variety of techniques including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and stick metal arc welding (SMAW). They can also be formed into a variety of shapes including sheet, plate, tube and pipe.
