3PE Steel Pipe Specification
3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes are widely used in oil and natural gas transportation fields. Since these pipelines need to withstand high pressure and corrosive media for a long time, 3PE anti-corrosion coating can provide reliable anti-corrosion protection, extend the service life of the pipeline, and reduce maintenance and replacement costs.
Structure of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe
First layer: epoxy powder coating (FBE): the thickness is about 100-250 microns. Provide excellent adhesion and chemical corrosion resistance, and the surface of the steel pipe closely combined.
Second layer: binder (Adhesive): thickness of about 170-250 microns. It is a copolymer binder that connects the epoxy powder coating to the polyethylene layer.
Third layer: Polyethylene (PE) coating: thickness of approximately 2.5-3.7 mm. Provides mechanical protection and a waterproofing layer against physical damage and moisture penetration.
