1.5414 Alloy Steel Pipe Description
1.5414 alloy pipe is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel pipe for high temperature and high pressure that conforms to the German standard DIN17175. It is used in power plants, oil and gas plants, nuclear power plant equipment, etc.

1. High temperature and high pressure stability
Pressure bearing capacity: room temperature bursting pressure ≥120 MPa (DN500 pipe);
Anti-creep: creep rate ≤1×10⁻⁸/s at 500℃ (3 times better than carbon steel).
2. Process and safety characteristics
Weldability: carbon equivalent CE ≤0.48%, preheating temperature 180–250℃ (avoid cold cracks);
Anti-hydrogen embrittlement: hydrogen diffusion coefficient ≤2×10⁻¹¹ m²/s in high pressure hydrogenation reactor

Chemical composition: Direct reading spectrometer (Mo accuracy ±0.01%) + infrared carbon sulfur meter;
Mechanical test: Tensile (yield/tensile strength/elongation)
-20℃ Charpy impact (transverse specimen)
2. Process and non-destructive testing
Flattening test: Pressed to inner wall distance = wall thickness × (1+0.07D) No cracks
Ultrasonic flaw detection (UT): Defect depth ≤0.5mm
Hydraulic pressure test: Maintain pressure ≥30 seconds without leakage
