DIN 17175 grade 19Mn5 carbon steel seamless pipe is a low-cost, low-carbon steel pipe with a carbon content between 0.17% and 0.22% and containing 10% to 13% manganese. This steel pipe is easy to form and manufactured to DIN specifications.
The 19Mn5 grade standard is suitable for seamless pipes, especially for the manufacture of heat-resistant steel header pipes that can be used in the construction of boilers, piping, pressure vessels and equipment. These tubes can simultaneously withstand high pressure at operating temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius. The total stress and associated scaling conditions can affect either increasing or decreasing the temperature limit. These pipes are available with plain square cut, deburred ends or beveled ends.
