St33 Carbon Steel Tube
ST33 precision steel pipe belongs to carbon structural steel (GB/700-1999Q235 steel pipe). This kind of steel is generally made in a converter or open hearth. Its main raw materials are molten iron and scrap steel. The sulfur and phosphorus content in steel is higher than that of high-quality carbon structural steel. Generally, sulfur is <0.050% and phosphorus is 0.045%. The content of other alloying elements brought into steel from raw materials, such as chromium, nickel, copper, etc., generally does not exceed 0.30%.
St33 steel pipe is a low carbon steel, so its raw material cost is relatively low, making the manufacturing cost more economical and suitable for some cost-sensitive applications. Due to its low carbon content, St33 steel pipe has good weldability and is easy to undergo various welding methods, including arc welding, gas shielded welding, etc.
St33 seamless steel pipe is commonly used in some general structural purposes, such as construction, machinery manufacturing, conveying equipment and other fields. Its mechanical properties are more balanced and suitable for use in some medium loads and medium environmental conditions.
