SA213 T91 chrome molybdenum Pipe Description
SA213 T91 alloy tube is a seamless steel tube for high pressure boilers that meets the ASME SA213 standard. Its chemical composition contains carbon (0.07-0.13%), chromium (8-9.5%), molybdenum (0.85-1.05%), vanadium (0.18-0.25%), niobium (0.06-0.10%) and other elements. After normalizing and tempering, it has excellent high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and stable and long-lasting plasticity. The design stress of this material at 550℃ is twice that of traditional T9 steel, and the allowable stress below 620℃ exceeds that of austenitic stainless steel. It is suitable for high temperature superheaters and reheaters of subcritical/supercritical boilers with wall temperatures ≤625℃.
Features
- Anti-oxidation performance: In an environment below 620℃, its resistance to high-temperature steam corrosion is better than that of austenitic stainless steel. After long-term service, the thickness of the oxide scale is only 1/3 of that of T9 steel
- Heat strength performance: 550℃ high-temperature specified non-proportional elongation strength reaches 376MPa, the lasting fracture life exceeds 100,000 hours, and the tensile strength is ≥585MPa
- Process stability: normalizing and tempering treatment process is adopted, the tensile strength is ≥585MPa, and the high-temperature specified non-proportional elongation strength at 550℃ reaches 376MPa.
