347H (S34709) is a high-carbon niobium-containing Cr-Ni austenitic stainless steel. Because it contains the stabilizing element Nb, it has good resistance to intergranular corrosion and polysulfate intergranular stress corrosion resistance. It can be used in corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts. Its corrosion resistance is similar to that of Ti-containing 18-8 austenitic stainless steel, so it is widely used in boilers, power generation, petroleum, chemicals, synthetic fibers, food, paper, and other industries. Used in large boiler superheater tubes, reheater tubes, steam pipes, and heat exchangers in the petrochemical industry.
