Product Description
Stainless steel 304 or its lower carbon version 304L pipe can be manufactured to ASTM A312 grade TP304 or TP304L respectively. TP304 and TP304L pipes are available in seamless or straight beam (longitudinal) welded types. They are primarily used in high temperature and general corrosion applications. TP304/TP304L seamless pipes should be manufactured using cold-drawn or hot-rolled processes, with no welding involved at any stage of production, while welded pipes should be manufactured using automatic welding processes, with no filler metal added during the welding process. Pipe can be equipped with flat or bevel butt weld ends, or threaded ends per ASME B1.20.1.
