Duplex Pipe Specification
Duplex s32205 pipe is made from a mixture of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. The blend of these two unique alloys provides this grade with excellent ductility and strength. S32304(2304) is a duplex stainless steel containing 22.5% Cr, 3% Nickel, and Mo. Alloy 2304 has similar corrosion resistance to 316L. Super duplex stainless steel S32750 has a very high resistance to localized corrosion in chloride media and has high mechanical strength. It also has a pitting resistance equivalent value PREN of greater than 40, and a minimum guaranteed yield strength of 550 MPa, allowing for leaner designs in load-bearing applications.
