316LN is a kind of austenitic stainless steel and a member of the 316 series stainless steel. Its main components include chromium (Cr) 16.0% ~ 18.0%, nickel (Ni) 10.0% ~ 14.0%, molybdenum (Mo) 2.0% ~ 3.0%, manganese (Mn) maximum 2.0%, silicon (Si) maximum 1.0% , phosphorus (P) maximum 0.045%, sulfur (S) maximum 0.030%, nitrogen (N) maximum 0.10%. In high temperature and corrosive environments, 316LN steel has excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and is suitable for manufacturing equipment and parts in chemical, marine, petroleum, food and other fields.
316LN stainless steel has the following main properties:
1. Good corrosion resistance: 316LN steel pipe contains high nitrogen, which makes it have excellent corrosion resistance under high temperature and corrosive environment, and can resist oxidation and acid and alkali corrosion.
