Machinability: SUS632 has relatively poor machinability, especially prior to solid solution heat treatment. Prior to solid solution heat treatment, SUS632 material is hard and may pose some challenges to the machining process. However, after solid solution treatment, the material becomes more malleable and therefore easier to form into desired shapes during machining. Additionally, after solutionising and ageing, SUS632 can achieve excellent strength and hardness, which can be valuable in some high-performance applications.
