ST37-2 Welded Carbon Steel Pipe
St37-2 welded pipe is a low carbon steel pipe with 0.20% carbon content, similar to S235JR or Q235.It is not as strong as regular ASTM A36, but is also widely used in everyday and structural applications where strength is not required. It is used in construction and underground engineering. ST37-2 steel pipe can be ordered with additional impact, flaw detection, Z-direction, composition control, and performance requirements beyond the standard. ST37-2 steel is smelted by oxygen converter, flat furnace or electric furnace, and the method of smelting is generally at the discretion of the supplier, unless the demander has special requirements and is stated in the contract.
