A312 410 steel pipe, also known as SUS410 stainless steel, is a nickel-free martensitic stainless steel with the following characteristics and uses:
Chemical composition and physical properties:
The carbon content is about 0.15% and the chromium content is about 13%, which makes 410 steel pipe has high hardness, toughness and corrosion resistance.
High thermal conductivity, low expansion coefficient, with the advantages of oxidation and stress corrosion resistance.
Application Areas:
Widely used in the manufacture of parts resistant to corrosion by atmosphere, water vapour, water and oxidising acids.
Particularly suitable for the manufacture of parts requiring high toughness and subject to shock loads, such as turbine blades, hydraulic press valves, structural frames, bolts and nuts.
