Extruded finned tubes are highly efficient heat transfer structures formed by tightly attaching fins to the base tube through a special extrusion process. These finned tubes feature large heat transfer area, high thermal performance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, significantly improving heat exchange efficiency.

The working principle of extruded finned tubes is primarily based on their unique structure and manufacturing process. In the extruder, pre-treated materials are fed into the extrusion die, which contains cavities designed to match the fin shape. When the material is subjected to strong pressure inside the die, its shape gradually changes, ultimately being extruded into the fin shape that conforms to the die cavity. After the fins are formed, they are assembled with the base tube to create a complete extruded finned tube. When hot fluid flows inside the tube and cold fluid flows between the fins, the presence of the fins greatly increases the external heat transfer area of the tube, allowing heat to be transferred more quickly to the fins and then from the fins to the cold fluid, thereby achieving efficient heat exchange.
