• Scope of supply

GNEE supplies API 5CT bushings in the following sizes and specifications:

Casing size range: 5 1/2" to 20", length typically R3.

• Casing Pipe

The casing is round in shape with a larger diameter and is inserted into the well and secured with cement to protect other equipment, mostly made of steel. Oil wells must be designed to withstand forces that are different from external forces, such as extrusion, explosion, stress and chemical corrosion.

API 5CT casing is used to support the wall of oil and gas pipes to ensure the normal operation of the oil well during the drilling process and after completion. Each well uses multiple layers of casing depending on the drilling depth and geological conditions. Casing must be used downhole after cementing. Unlike oil pipes and drill pipes, it cannot be reused and is a one-time consumable material. As a result, casing consumption accounts for more than 70% of all oil well pipes. According to the use, it can be divided into casing, surface casing, casing and production casing.

• OCTG oil pipe

The OCTG tubing is located inside the casing because that is how the oil flows out of the casing. The tubing is the simplest part of the OCTG and is typically 30 feet (9 meters) long with threaded connections at both ends. After drilling is complete, this type of pipeline is used to transport natural gas or crude oil from the producing formation to a processing facility.

• Casing and steel pipe joints

We know that a steel pipe coupling is a pipe or short pipe with threads on both ends, used to connect pipes. API fittings play an important role in joining pipes and casing as they require a more rigorous manufacturing process than regular steel fittings. The recommended standard is API 5B.
