ASTM A213 T12 high-pressure alloy seamless steel pipe is essentially a ferritic heat-resistant alloy pipe with 1.25Cr-0.5Mo as its core (similar to the 15CrMoG of the Chinese national standard 5310).
By precisely controlling the carbon content to 0.05-0.15%, combined with chromium (0.8-1.25%) to enhance oxidation resistance and molybdenum (0.44-0.65%) to improve high-temperature creep strength, it maintains stable performance even in high-pressure environments above 540℃. Unlike ordinary carbon steel, the alloy composition of T12 makes it a "safety barrier" for high-risk scenarios such as thermal power plants and petrochemical plants.
