What is DIN 1.7362 steel pipe made of
Jul 04, 2025
DIN 1.7362 is a low alloy heat-resistant steel seamless pipe, which belongs to the chromium-molybdenum alloy steel in the German industrial standard (DIN 17175). The long-term use temperature is ≤550℃, and it is mainly used in high-temperature pressure pipeline systems.
Features
Medium temperature heat resistance
Chromium (4-6%) + molybdenum (0.45-0.65%) synergistically, the creep resistance temperature can reach 550℃;
Process adaptability
Support hot rolling and cold drawing, ultrasonic flaw detection is required to ensure no defects;
Safety design
Low sulfur and phosphorus content (S≤0.020%, P≤0.020%) reduces the risk of high temperature embrittlement.
