What is the difference between 15CrMoG and Q345B
15CrMoG and Q345b are two different steels, which differ in chemical composition, performance and application scenarios:
Chemical composition and environment:
15CrMoG: This is a low alloy steel, the main components of which include carbon, chromium, molybdenum and a small amount of sulfur, phosphorus and manganese. It is particularly suitable for equipment and pipelines in high temperature and high pressure environments, such as petroleum cracking gas coolers, catalytic cracking reactors, etc. 15CrMoG has good high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.
Q345b: This is a low carbon alloy steel, the main component of which is carbon (C) with a content of less than 0.2%, and contains a high level of manganese (Mn). Q345b has excellent comprehensive properties, including good low temperature performance, cold stamping performance, welding performance and machinability, and is widely used in bridges, vehicles, ships, buildings and pressure vessels.

Performance and application:
15CrMoG: Due to its high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, it is particularly suitable for equipment and pipelines that need to withstand high temperature and corrosive environments.
Q345b: Due to its good comprehensive performance and welding performance, it is often used to manufacture various structural parts and welded structures, such as bridges, buildings and vehicles.
