ASTM A333 Low Temperature Steel Pipe Description

A333 Low Temperature Seamless Steel Pipe is a special type of seamless steel pipe which is mainly used in very low temperature, such as -45℃ to -195℃ environment. This kind of steel pipe belongs to the American ASTM A333/A333M standard and has the following characteristics:

Material composition: It mainly includes 16MnDG cryogenic pipe, 10MnDG cryogenic pipe, 09DG cryogenic pipe, 09Mn2VDG cryogenic pipe, 06Ni3MoDG cryogenic pipe, etc. The selection of these materials ensures the stability and durability of the steel pipe under low temperature conditions.
Metallographic organization: The metallographic organization of A333 cryogenic seamless steel pipe is body-centered cubic ferrite, and this structure helps to improve its performance at low temperature.
Delivery condition: usually delivered in normalized or normalized and tempered condition, such treatment can optimize the mechanical properties of the material and make it more suitable for low temperature applications.
