A333 Seamless Steel Pipe Description
ASTM A333 is mainly used for seamless steel pipes for low-temperature pressure vessels and low-temperature heat exchanger pipes at -45℃~-195℃. A333 cryogenic steel pipes are available in multiple grades, the most common of which are A333 Gr1 and A333 Gr6. ASTM/SA 333 Gr 1 is part of the standard for seamless and welded carbon and alloy steels for cryogenic use, mainly used in the petroleum industry or dewatering applications, Liquid transport and circulating water. ASTM A333 gr.1 alloy pipe shall be manufactured using a seamless or welded process with no filler metal added during the welding operation. ASTM A333 Grade 6 is the standard covering seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel pipe for cryogenic temperatures, similar to AISI 4032 Low Alloy Steel. No filler metal should be added during welding.
