ASTM A519 1020 Seamless Pipe
ASTM A519 Grade 1020 Carbon Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes are low carbon steel tubes and pipes with a carbon content of 0.18-0.23% and a manganese content of 0.30-0.60%. These pipes are also known as mild steel pipes and tubes. ASTM A519 Grade 1020 pipe is low cost pipe that is easy to form and shape. These pipes are manufactured to ASME code and are commercially known as cs pipe or ms pipe. Mild steel pipe is not as hard as high carbon steel pipe, although carburizing can increase its surface hardness.
