ASTM A178 Carbon Steel Tube Description
ASTM A178 standard covers minimum wall thickness resistance welded pipe made of carbon steel and carbon manganese steel for use in boiler tubes, boiler flues, superheater flues, and safety ends. GNEE Group may supply steel pipe in accordance with this specification in sizes and thicknesses from 1⁄2 to 5 in. [12.7 to 127 mm] outside diameter and minimum wall thicknesses from 0.035 to 0.360 in. [0.9 to 9.1 mm], inclusive. If you need other sizes, we can also produce according to this specification.
