API 5L X60 is a high-grade pipe commonly found in the API 5L specification for oil and gas transportation. Also called L415 pipe, so named because of its minimum yield strength of 415 MPa (60,200 psi). It covers seamless manufacturing types (hot and cold rolled) as well as ERW, LSAW, SSAW (HSAW) welding. API 5L X60 PSL1 welded pipes are used in a variety of industries such as dairy, chemical, fertilizer, textile, sugar, paper and others. In addition, these X60 ERW pipes are used in engineering, power generation and nuclear industries.
