Spiral Wound Gasket, API 601, PTFE, PN50
Oct 14, 2025
316 spiral wound gaskets are semi-metallic flat gaskets made by spirally winding stainless steel and non-metallic strips, combining the properties of both metals and non-metals. Their unique features include excellent compression and rebound performance, a multi-pass sealing design, and a self-tightening function, enabling them to maintain excellent sealing performance even in harsh environments. Furthermore, these gaskets are insensitive to surface imperfections on the flange compression surface, do not adhere to the flange sealing surface, and are easy to disassemble. They can also, to a certain extent, offset the effects of pressure, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical vibration.
This gasket demonstrates excellent sealing performance in complex environments such as high temperature, low pressure, high vacuum, and shock and vibration, making it widely used in various industrial fields. Based on their structural characteristics, metal-wound gaskets can be divided into various types, including basic type, type with inner ring, type with locating ring, and type with both inner ring and locating ring, to meet diverse sealing requirements.
