SA213T22 seamless steel pipe is a key material widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as power generation and petrochemicals. Its performance and production process directly affect the safe operation of industrial equipment.

 

Its mechanical properties are: tensile strength ≥415MPa, yield strength ≥205MPa, and it maintains stable mechanical strength even at a high temperature of 593℃.

 

This material conforms to the ASTM A213/A213M standard, and the corresponding Chinese standard is 15CrMoG steel grade in GB5310-2017. It is commonly used in power plant boiler components such as superheaters and reheaters with wall temperatures ≤580°C.

 

In terms of microstructure, T22 steel pipe obtains a fine-grained bainitic structure through normalizing and tempering heat treatment, with the grain size typically controlled at grade 5-8. This structure effectively slows down carbide accumulation during long-term high-temperature service, extending its service life. It is worth noting that this material has strict control over impurity elements such as sulfur and phosphorus (content ≤0.025%). ER90S-B3L special welding wire must be used during welding, and preheating (200-250°C) and post-weld heat treatment (700-750°C) processes must be strictly followed.
