When was the T92 pipe used
Apr 01, 2025
T92 alloy tube application scenarios are determined by its material properties and high-temperature and high-pressure resistance performance.
1. High-Temperature and High-Pressure Boiler System
Temperature Range:
450℃ to 650℃: Suitable for high-pressure boilers (working pressure > 9.8 MPa) superheaters, reheaters, and other high-temperature parts.
≤450℃: Applicable to low- and medium-pressure boilers (working pressure ≤ 5.88 MPa) economizers, heating surface tubes, and so on.
Core Advantage:
M-aintain high strength at high temperatures, with excellent creep resistance, avoiding deformation failure under long-term heat loads.
Good resistance to oxidation, reducing the problem of pipe wall thinning caused by high-temperature oxidation.
2. High-Temperature Pipes for the Petrochemical Industry
Used in refining, chemical, and other scenarios that need to withstand high-temperature corrosive media piping systems, such as cracking furnace pipes and reforming device piping.
Adapt to sulphur-containing and acid-containing environments to reduce the risk of corrosion.
3. Suggestions for selection
| Scene Type | Recommended conditions of use | Examples of typical components |
|---|---|---|
| High Pressure Boiler Systems | Pressure >9.8 MPa, temperature ≥450°C | Superheater, reheater, main steam piping |
| Low and medium pressure boiler systems | Pressure ≤5.88 MPa, temperature ≤450°C | Coal economiser, water-cooled wall tubes |
| Petrochemical high temperature equipment | High temperature environment with corrosive media | Cracker tubes, high temperature reactor tubes |
