What is the difference between A213 T22 and T11?
A213 T22 and A213 T11 are the same type of alloy steel tubes which are mainly used in high temperature and high pressure environments. Here are the main differences between them:
Chemical composition:
A213 T22: Contains 2.25% chromium and 1% molybdenum, and a small amount of nickel, which gives it good strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures.
A213 T11: The main components are 1.5% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum, as well as a certain amount of aluminium and titanium, which gives it good resistance to oxidation at high temperatures.
Mechanical properties:
A213 T22: This steel pipe has a tensile strength of at least 415 MPa, a yield strength of at least 205 MPa and an elongation of at least 30%.
A213 T11: The steel pipe has a tensile strength of at least 415 MPa, a yield strength of at least 170 MPa and an elongation of at least 30%.
Areas of application:
Both A213 T22 and T11 can withstand high temperatures and have anti-corrosion properties, and are commonly used for high-temperature pipelines and vessels in petrochemical, electric power and marine environments.
The difference between A213 T11 and T22 is that the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the two pipes are different, T22 is suitable for chemical and marine engineering with higher requirements, and A213 T11 is suitable for chemical and marine engineering with general requirements.
